The UFO Dripper is a new conical pour over brewer that aims to bring those familiar clear and bright cup profiles while also being more consistent than the widely popular Hario V60. This claimed consistency is credited to its wider 80° angle and deeper air channels. ↓CHAPTERS↓ [00:00] Intro [01:24] Standart Sponsor [02:11] Build & Features [03:59] Brewing & Tasting [06:31] Final Thoughts Learn ...

My Morning Routine | A Cold Winter Morning Flat White
I have always loved a dark roast and always will. I also love a good smoked tea. I prefer bitter over bright. I like a brew with layers of flavor including the bitter notes.
Is ist a massive upgrade in comparison to the timemore 78s after grinding it in? I‘m torn between those 2 😬
$800 is not something on a budget.
Compare it to other 83mm rpm controlled grinders and then tell me this isn’t a “beast on a budget”…
What difference does a 40 gram out compared to 36 make.
My purchases since starting about 8 years ago Delonghi EC 155 ($20) 2016 Modded Gaggia Classic ($400) 2019 Cafelat Robot ($500) 2024 Baratza Encore ($130) 2016 Eureka Mignon Specialita ($350) 2019 Niche Zero ($650) 2022 Timemore 064 ($400) 2024 Overall I think I was pretty reasonable with these purchases. Bought the robot when my Gaggia finally had more problems than it was worth fixing. Only real splurge was the Timemore. Just wanted to get a flat burr grinder that was easier to clean than the Specialita.
i don't mind the look. it is not stunning or anything. but if it does a good job i don't care.
Sounds yum will make cheers
For a demanding coffee drinker that is not interested in the marginal gains of a Weber Workshops, this looks like a very interesting option to me…
arent anyone wondering when dialing in which burr move its position? since the motor is on the dialing side?
Icarus has flown too close to the sun
Did you have to spend any time aligning the burs or was it good to go out of the box?
pump on? no matter what pump? don't agree...
Way too fast.
Omg, This feels so incredibly true!
I’m debating between this grinder and the Lagom P64. What say you?
Oooph, that’s a tough one. I do love my P64, and it’ll likely remain my main grinder. But it is about twice the price and not really twice the grinder IMO. I do love the idea of having RPM control when I want it, but I don’t use it all that much. So I think the question to ask yourself is if you want to pay extra for that option and which fits your space better.
@@Sprometheus thank you for the quick response. Even at twice the price, I like the smaller footprint, seemingly less static, and easier access to the grind adjustment. Plus I think it comes apart a little easier for cleaning?
don't you think the issue of stalling is moot? I mean, it only stalls when grinding fine at a low RPM with light roasts. If you're having light roasts, you're almost certainly having filter, not espresso, so you'd not be grinding so fine... so I don't really see when, in actual use, you'd stall.
It could be a moot point from a user perspective. And maybe I’m just old fashioned, but I think if any product is sold with features they should all work regardless of how those features would be generally be used. To me it’s a matter of holding manufacturers responsible for what they sell.
@@Sprometheus perhaps, but to give an extreme example to illustrate the other side of the argument, would you expect a Porsche to drive properly if you kept it in 5th gear? I don't know anyone who'd grind a light roast finely, why would they try driving from a standstill in 5th gear?
Thank you, Spro!
Most of us went through that journey where dark roast was it for us, and then taste grew into liking light roast fruity coffee. My taste buds lately prefer the acidity over bitter flavors of dark roast, but once in a while, dark roasted coffee do taste good. Lavaza Super Crema is a medium dark roast that tastes fairly decent as espresso and in moka pot. While I won't drink it daily but once in a while nice to change it up. A lot of times adding a small pinch of cinnamon in dark roast coffee does add a lot of flavor.
Who does that? I think most people like making coffee at home right? Totally separate from being caught in the capitalist crap, that's on you if you are not aware of it
what makes this a hard sell for me lack of programmability in the shots either by time or volumetric. My partner doesn't want to think about making coffee as much as I do... yes i know craZy right?!?! She just wants to hit "GO" and focus on milk steaming and getting that vortex and texture right. She can't be bothered to stop a shot! Shes already burnt out on weighing, spritzing, grinding, transferring, stiring, leveling and finally tamping!
Yeah, so what's your point ? 😊
That's just all the money he saved You know to buy new gear
Actually…it‘s just one more tool
Me going to buy another coffee brewing method that makes coffee the same as all the other methods
TRUTH!
The truth hurts sometimes...
You hurt my feelings 😂
🤣
I got one of these after I broke my clever and have been really enjoying it. Thanks for the info.
Have you tried playing with temp offset?
LM is the rolex of coffee machines. Is it better? Maybe? Is it innovative? Not my call.
Wondering if i200d is compatible with other 64mm grinders
I really want to watch this, and might background it, but GD a REAR CONTROL WHEEL...I'M OUT
Where does this grinder compare (if at all) to a Timemore Sculptor 078S in your opinion?
Side note: These results might differ from machine to machine...
Any idea when it will be available for purchase in the US?
Phenomenal grinder for high-end home and single-dosing SEO for cafes. Really excited for this one and I think I will pick one up myself.
I purchased the go and I’m enjoying it and your right about the sharp edges near the drip tray, which has cut my finger!
I LIKE THAT T SHIRT,!!! WHERE CAN I GET ONE.
Thank you for the video. The dosing cup is grounded and that is an anti-static measure. The grinder does not need any extra ion generators or similar.
not cool, if i were to bring this to travel, i have to hand carry it?? due to the batts?
I have owned Mazzer in past. super solid, reliable and built like a tank. non variable rpm is in line with Italian traditional grinders and not with 3rd wave fine tuning. a variable rpm would be nice especially with 400 watts behind it. rpm 1400-1600 standard. likely that initial vibration due to changes during shipping as mazzer certainly setup and fine tuned the review sample pre post.
Anyone have any issues on the 54 taking off the chute for cleaning? The one screw on the bottom of the cute just keeps turning and wont come out
3:24 Slayer recommends... OK then!
Would you say that the philos (I200D burr) gets anywhere close to the clarity of a 98mm burr for filter?
How it does compare to Zerno ?
I really enjoyed the coffee I got from this recipe, ty. Temple - Costa Rica Allan Oviedo
SUPER KOP SUPER KOP
These manual espresso press are just too over priced. Tssss
So this machine cannot be used commercially? I was thinking of buying the Micra instead of Mini but am still unsure for a light commercial use
